The latest version has been rebuilt around
exact-user verification and fail-safe targeting. Before performing an automatic moderation action, Pal MicTimer Pro verifies the current mic holder and the live Paltalk Talking Now target. After Restricting the user, it verifies the changed member state, tracks that same user, Unrestricts them, and verifies that the member returned to their normal state.

IMPORTANT: PAL MIC TIMER PRO IS DESIGNED FOR STANDARD 1-MIC PALTALK ROOMS. MULTI-MIC ROOMS ARE NOT SUPPORTED.

When a user's allowed microphone time expires, Pal MicTimer Pro can automatically perform the room's Restrict action on the verified mic holder.

After Restricting the expired mic holder, Pal MicTimer Pro tracks the affected member and automatically Unrestricts that same user so they are able to re-queue for mic.
Exact-User Safety Verification
The automatic moderation system does not simply assume that one Paltalk list position matches another.
The program verifies the current mic identity, targets the live
Talking Now user, detects the member state that actually changed after Restrict, tracks that same member for Unrestrict, and verifies the completed roundtrip.
If the required target cannot be safely verified, the automatic action is aborted instead of guessing.
Multi-Mic Fail-Safe Protection
Pal MicTimer Pro is intended for standard
single-mic rooms.
If an unsupported multiple-Talking-Now condition is detected, automatic moderation is stopped rather than risking action against the wrong user.
Automatic Room Messages
Automatically announce important timer events directly in the selected Paltalk room.
Messages can be individually enabled or disabled.
Fully Customizable Messages
Write your own room messages using placeholders such as:

Enable Diagnostics to see detailed information about mic verification, Talking Now targeting, menu acquisition, Restrict/Unrestrict verification and fail-safe conditions.
Diagnostics can remain disabled during normal use.
Single-Instance Protection
Accidentally opening Pal MicTimer Pro a second time will return you to the existing program instead of running duplicate timer instances.
Compact Midnight Interface
The latest release features a smaller, cleaner Midnight Society interface designed to stay out of the way while you're managing your room.
How to Use
Download the Pal MicTimer Pro ZIP file.
Right-click the ZIP and choose Extract All.- Open Paltalk and enter your standard single-mic chat room.
- Run PalMicTimerPro.exe.
Select your Paltalk room from the room list.
Open SETTINGS and configure your microphone time.- Open MESSAGES to customize the room notifications you want to use.
Click START.
That's it!
Pal MicTimer Pro will begin monitoring the room and automatically detect the current microphone user.
When their configured mic time expires, the program can perform its verified Restrict → Unrestrict sequence and allow the user to re-queue.
Click
STOP whenever you want to stop the timer.
Example
A user takes the microphone:
ExampleUser has taken the mic. Mic time: 02:00
As their timer runs:
ExampleUser has 01:00 remaining.
When their microphone time expires:
ExampleUser's mic time has expired.
After the verified Restrict/Unrestrict cycle:
ExampleUser has been removed from mic and is now able to re-queue.

Pal MicTimer Pro lets you customize your room messages to fit the personality and rules of your room.
Built to Fail Safe
The automatic moderation system is intentionally conservative.
Pal MicTimer Pro verifies the current microphone holder before attempting an automatic moderation action.
It then uses the live Paltalk Talking Now target, verifies the member state changed after Restrict, tracks the affected member for Unrestrict, and checks the completed state afterward.
If Pal MicTimer Pro cannot establish the required verification,
it aborts the automatic action rather than guessing at another member.
That protection is especially important in active rooms where the member list can change while the timer is running.
Standard 1-Mic Rooms Only
Pal MicTimer Pro was designed specifically for standard ONE-MIC Paltalk rooms.
Rooms supporting multiple simultaneous microphone positions use a different Talking Now layout and are
not supported by this release.
If multiple live Talking Now targets are detected, Pal MicTimer Pro is designed to stop the automatic moderation operation.
This is intentional safety behavior.
Troubleshooting
If something doesn't behave as expected:
• Make sure the correct Paltalk room is selected.
• Make sure somebody is currently using the microphone.
• Make sure you are using a standard
1-mic room.
• Make sure your Paltalk account has the room moderation permissions required for Restrict/Unrestrict.
• Open
LOG to view the Activity Log.
• Turn on
Diagnostics for detailed troubleshooting information.
Paltalk occasionally changes its desktop client. If a future Paltalk update changes the room interface, Pal MicTimer Pro may require a compatibility update.
