Pal Welcome Bot is a lightweight Paltalk room utility that automatically welcomes users when they enter your room, says goodbye when they leave, posts timed advertisements and announcements, and includes a customizable Auto Responder for automatic !commands.
Open your Paltalk room → Select it → Create your messages & commands → Start the features you want!
FEATURES
AUTOMATIC WELCOME MESSAGES — Detects users entering your selected Paltalk room and automatically sends your custom greeting.
AUTOMATIC GOODBYE MESSAGES — Detects users leaving and automatically sends your custom goodbye.
USERNAME INSERTION — Use {user} anywhere in a Welcome or Goodbye message and it is automatically replaced with the user's Paltalk nickname.
CUSTOM MESSAGES — Create multiple Welcome, Goodbye and Advert messages using your own text.
AUTO RESPONDER — Create your own commands such as !rules, !website, !help or anything else you want and assign an automatic reply to each command.
AUTO RESPONDER ANTI-SPAM — Built-in spam protection automatically stops users from flooding the room by repeatedly triggering commands.
SMART SEND QUEUE — Welcome messages, Goodbye messages, Auto Replies, spam warnings and Adverts are automatically scheduled so multiple bot features do not try to post at the same time.
SMART ADVERT DEFERRAL — Timed adverts automatically wait behind more important room activity such as Auto Replies, Welcome messages and spam warnings.
DUPLICATE PROTECTION — Prevents identical queued messages and immediate repeat sends from accidentally flooding the room.
GLOBAL POST COOLDOWN — All bot features share one posting cooldown so messages remain properly spaced.
SAVE YOUR SETTINGS — Saves custom messages, commands, Auto Responder rules and settings for the next time you run the program.

BUILT-IN ADVERT BOT
Pal Welcome Bot includes a complete Advert Bot. Add advertisements, announcements, room rules, website information, reminders or other messages and have them automatically posted at your selected interval.
The Greeter, Advert Bot and Auto Responder all share the selected Paltalk room and can run together at the same time.
Add multiple adverts and the bot automatically rotates through them.

A live countdown shows exactly when the next advert will be sent:

BUILT-IN AUTO RESPONDER
The Auto Responder lets you create your own Paltalk room commands and automatic replies.
The command prefix is permanently ! so commands are easy for users to recognize.
Example:
COMMAND: rules
USER TYPES: !rules
BOT REPLIES: Please read and follow the room rules.
Create commands such as:
!rules — Display your room rules
!website — Post your website
!help — Show available help
!discord — Post your Discord information
!schedule — Post your room schedule
You decide the commands and exactly what the bot says. Add, delete and save your commands directly from the Auto Responder tab.
AUTO RESPONDER ANTI-SPAM
Pal Welcome Bot includes built-in protection against users intentionally hammering Auto Responder commands to make the bot flood the room.
The default protection detects
3 rapid Auto Responder commands within approximately 4 seconds. When the spam limit is reached, the triggering command does not receive its normal reply, pending Auto Responder replies from the spam burst are removed and the bot sends one timeout warning.
Example:
Time out for spam - Auto Responder paused for 30 seconds.
Additional commands during the timeout are ignored and cannot pile up and replay afterward. When the timeout expires, the Auto Responder automatically resumes.
The spam limit, detection window, timeout duration and timeout message can be customized.
SMART SEND QUEUE
Pal Welcome Bot now uses a Smart Send Queue to coordinate every automatic message generated by the program.
If a user joins, another user types !rules, and an Advert becomes due at nearly the same time, the features do not fight over the Paltalk message box or dump everything into the room at once.
Messages are automatically prioritized:
1. Spam Timeout Warning
2. Auto Responder Reply
3. Welcome / Goodbye
4. Timed Advert
All features share a global posting cooldown to keep messages properly spaced. Timed Adverts are intentionally lowest priority and can wait briefly while more important room activity is handled.
The Smart Send Queue also includes duplicate protection and queue-size protection to help prevent accidental flooding during unusually busy room activity.

HOW TO USE
- Start Paltalk and enter the room you want to use.
- Open Pal Welcome Bot and click SCAN.
- Select your Paltalk room.
- Enter your Welcome and Goodbye messages.
- Use {user} where you want the user's nickname.
- Enable Welcome Users and/or Goodbye Users.
- Click SAVE, then START BOT.
For advertisements, switch to ADVERT BOT, enter your messages, choose the interval, click SAVE, then START ADVERT BOT.
For automatic commands, switch to AUTO RESPONDER, add your commands and replies, click SAVE, then START AUTO RESPONDER.
All three features can operate together.
TEST BEFORE STARTING
Use
TEST WELCOME,
TEST GOODBYE, or
TEST ADVERT to immediately send a test message to the selected Paltalk room. This makes it easy to verify your messages before leaving the bot running automatically.
BUILT-IN DIAGNOSTICS
Pal Welcome Bot includes a hidden diagnostics panel for troubleshooting and support.

Diagnostics provide detailed information about the Greeter, Advert Bot, Auto Responder, Anti-Spam system, selected Paltalk room, message sending and Smart Send Queue—including pending Welcome, Goodbye, Auto Reply, Advert and Spam Timeout messages.
If you ever experience a problem, this information can be copied and provided when requesting support.
INSTALLATION
Download the latest Pal Welcome Bot release, extract the download and run PalWelcomeBot.exe. Paltalk Desktop should already be running with the room you want to use open.
The official release is published as a
self-contained Windows application, so users should not normally need to install the .NET Desktop Runtime separately.

PALTALK UPDATES
Paltalk occasionally changes its Desktop software. If a future Paltalk update affects Pal Welcome Bot, check palstalk.com for the newest version.
