Pal Exit Bot has received an important update focused on making the program
lighter, cleaner, more reliable, and more AV-friendly while keeping the exit-message system you already know and love.
The main purpose of Pal Exit Bot remains simple:
when you normally click the X to leave a Paltalk chat room, your custom exit message is automatically posted before the room closes.
What’s New in v2.4.4
Completely Improved Start with Paltalk System
Pal Exit Bot now uses a separate lightweight
Pal Exit Companion to handle the optional Start with Paltalk feature.
Instead of launching the entire Pal Exit Bot application when Windows starts, only the tiny Companion waits quietly in the background.
When Paltalk actually starts,
Pal Exit Bot automatically opens and is ready to go.
Automatically Closes with Paltalk
When you completely close Paltalk, the main Pal Exit Bot application automatically closes too.
The lightweight Companion can remain quietly waiting for the next time you start Paltalk.
No More Unnecessary Program Launch at Windows Startup
Previously, startup monitoring could require the main application to run simply to wait for Paltalk.
With v2.4.4:
Windows Starts → Lightweight Companion Waits → Paltalk Starts → Pal Exit Bot Starts
This means the full program only runs when you actually need it.
More AV-Friendly Architecture
The Paltalk startup detection system has been separated from the main room automation program.
The new
PalExitCompanion.exe has one simple job: watch for your Paltalk session and manage Pal Exit Bot's startup behavior.
This provides a cleaner and more lightweight design for everyday use.
Unique Companion for Pal Exit Bot
Pal Exit Bot now has its own uniquely named:
PalExitCompanion.exe
This is important for users who run multiple SLY Software Paltalk utilities.
Each program can have its own independent Companion without conflicting with another SLY utility.
Manual Close Is Now Respected
If Paltalk is running and you intentionally close Pal Exit Bot, the Companion will
not continuously reopen it.
Pal Exit Bot stays closed for the remainder of that Paltalk session.
After Paltalk itself is completely closed, the session resets. The next time you start Paltalk, Pal Exit Bot can automatically start again.
Improved Publishing & Packaging
The v2.4.4 release system has also been corrected so the main application and its Companion are packaged together properly:
PalExitBot.exe
PalExitCompanion.exe
Both files should remain together in the Pal Exit Bot folder.
The Exit System You Love Hasn't Changed
The important part was left alone!
Pal Exit Bot still works the same simple way:
Enter your custom message → Click SAVE → Turn AUTO on → Use Paltalk normally
When you're ready to leave a room, just click the normal
X.
Pal Exit Bot detects the exit → Posts your custom message → The room closes normally
No special exit buttons. No commands. No extra steps.
Built-In Test Button
You can still use the
TEST button while inside a Paltalk room to make sure your saved message is posting correctly before relying on automatic exit detection.

This version contains
two EXE files:
PalExitBot.exe — The main application
PalExitCompanion.exe — The lightweight Start with Paltalk companion
Keep both files together in the same folder.
Do not delete, rename, or separate PalExitCompanion.exe if you use
Start w/PT.
Updating From an Older Version
Download the new ZIP file and
extract it completely before running the program.
Do not run Pal Exit Bot directly from inside the ZIP.
For the cleanest upgrade, place the new v2.4.4 files together in their own permanent folder and launch:
PalExitBot.exe
Then configure your exit message and enable
Start w/PT if you want Pal Exit Bot to automatically follow your Paltalk sessions.
